INTRODUCTION

I would like to clarify that the writings contained in this book are penned by a female author. I, Karen McDaniel am the author, and state this openly in order for those with reservations about reading further to be duly warned. Some have interpreted the writings of Paul to indicate that men should not read anything of a spiritual nature that was written by a female. If this is you, I respect your decision, and am in no way offended. However, I hope this is not the case, as I don't believe there are many, (and maybe not any), other sources that will give you the overview you will find within these pages. My research has lead me to various independent views, that don't match standard teachings! With this in mind, I trust that all who consider them will be good Bereans and check the Word of God for themselves to see that these things be so. Please DO advise me if any discrepancies with God's Word are found!

As one who strives to align with the will of God at all cost, I have carefully studied the passage of I Corinthians 14 and I Timothy 2 carefully, and attempted to abide by the admonitions therein to dress modestly, submit to proper authority, and walk in faith, charity, holiness, and sobriety. It should be noted that the word used for woman/women in both of these passages is "gune", Strong's 1135, which means "a woman - SPECIFICALLY A WIFE". Please note that the context of I Timothy 2 doesn't reference the church at all, but is referring to the home. Conversely, I Corinthians 14 does reference church gatherings, where the preceding verses indicate that confusion was ensuing. THUS it was that Paul was requesting that those men who had wives should restrain the questions of THEIR "gune" (wives), and answer them later at home, in order to minimize the disruption of the service. Totally stifling female speech in gatherings of the body of Christ does not square with Scriptures such as Acts 2:17-18, which says that God will pour out His Spirit upon His handmaidens in the end days and they shall "prophesy". Such prophecies would be for the entire body of Christ.

This is another issue I wish to address, as I see myself as one such woman, who has been given the impetus to bring forth prophetic messages to the body of Christ. The word "prophecy" has been given rather strict parameters in the church today, but maybe we should re-examine these parameters. The Greek word for "prophesy" in Acts 2 is "propheteuo", Strongs 4395. It means to "foretell events" and "speak under inspiration". Let me address this "inspiration" for just a moment. It is taught that this must be a direct WORD FROM THE LORD to the recipient, which he/she is to utter to the body of Christ as a "THUS SAYETH THE LORD". However, Jeremiah 23:9-32 foretells of a day when the prophets will say a word is of the Lord, and it will not be from Him. God says, "I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. But if they had stood IN MY COUNSEL, and had caused my people to hear my words, THEN should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doing." What does this COUNSEL mean? We find in Revelation 19:10 that the testimony of Yeshua IS the spirit of prophecy!

Could this council not be the basking in the presence of the Lord during times of prayer and study of His Word? Could it not be a close, abiding walk with Him? Could this be when and how God's Spirit will be poured out upon His handmaidens in the end days? They will probably not hear an audible voice, or a precise word, but rather begin to understand the severity of the judgments about to confront the world, and will compile all information they have available and filter it through the inspired Word of God to be watchmen for the body of Christ and bring warnings and forecasts of the end day events to their brethren. I realized some years ago that the Lord had put me in the role of watchman, and the Holy Spirit has since directed my path to pull together the understanding of His TOTAL plan for mankind in a way I would never have dreamed possible. I DO NOT, and I repeat DO NOT say that ANYTHING found in this book is a "THUS SAITH THE LORD". It is a compilation of prophetic messages in the broadest possible sense, based upon the leading of the Holy Spirit as I gather information that I have found to be Scripturally significant in the fulfillment of the messages of the Prophets of Old. However, quite a few of my own thoughts are mixed in there as well, so any timelines, etc. are only well intended conjectures. These messages are derived from much study, research, and a painstaking effort to maintain Scriptural integrity. Please don't view them as any more OR any less, and simply use them as springboards for further study.

My spiritual gift is that of "exhortation" (Romans 12:8). Good ol' Webster's tells us exactly what this word means. It means to warn, advise, urge strongly, incite to action (even arguing when necessary), make urgent appeals, AND encourage those to whom the message is given. I am accountable to God for the manner in which I use the spiritual gifts He gave me, and I have endeavored over the last several years to draw together such messages for the body of Christ. I have freely received the information which compiles them, and freely I give it as well (Matthew 10:8). Because He has given me much, much is being required of me (Luke 12:48), to share what He has given me with the body of Christ.

Robin Wade (my female ministry associate) feels likewise called to exhort the Body of Christ in similar fashion in these end days. It is a powerful calling which we know we must answer! I Corinthians 11:5 says that the woman's head should be covered when she prays or prophesies. Both Robin and I have our heads covered at all times unless washing our hair. It is our intent to honor our Lord and Savior in every way at all times.

Hebrews 10:25 says not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together, but to exhort one another: and so much the more as ye see the day approaching. There's my gift again! SO, it is my hope that you will allow me to assemble myself with you as you read the words of this book, and allow me to use that spiritual gift which God has so richly given me to exhort the body of Christ in these end days! Please understand that what is presented here is a great deal of information from VARIOUS sources, some of an occult nature, in order to draw EVERYTHING into the perspective of the TOTAL Plan of God for ALL of mankind - not just those whom He has currently called and/or chosen. But that's enough for now! Let's proceed to take a stroll down Paradox Alley. "Come now, and let us reason together", saith the Lord in Isaiah 1:18, for "though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."
