Q&A 19 - MANY MEMBERS, ONE BODY
Q - Regarding the body of Christ, I Corinthians 12:20 says there are many members, but only one body. This does not seem to fit with the concept of the split rapture. Can you explain?
A - Yes, there is but one body with many members. However, the members are still treated separately. My dad is in heaven, having died a few years ago, yet I am still here. I am not with him at this time. He is living in a different capacity than I am at this moment in time, yet we are of the same "body of Christ". There will be other divisions and distributions of rewards in the days ahead before the body is united. One day the entire body will be united for eternity, but that is not to be for a while yet.
