Q&A 30 - TOUCHES OF GOD

Q - In 2002, when my husband and I rededicated our lives to Christ and began to actually LIVE for Him, the Spirit touched me in several places, but I'm unsure as of yet why He touched me there. The first occurred during the summer of 2002. Every single night for a week, between 6-7 p.m., while watching TV no less, the Spirit entered my right arm, from my fingertips, up my arm and over my shoulder. This would last about 5 minutes each time. One of those nights, He went all the way up that arm, then over my shoulder and across my heart, and literally jolted me in the chair! It was like receiving an electrical shock, and I jumped! This occurred ever so often throughout that year (but never over the heart again, just the right arm). Then once, and only once, that same year, He entered my throat and my tongue. I would've THOUGHT perhaps He entered my right arm because I was going to begin prophesying through my poetry ... but I'm left-handed! ANY idea what this was all about? And in 2003 - today, He entered between my shoulder blades and gives me a "massage" ... nearly every day. Now in 2005, beginning the last week of April l… the Lord began "touching" me in my right ear, and every time I get still and quiet, I feel Him there! My husband says it's because I have spiritual ears, and He is speaking to me, but I don't hear actual words, just feel the tingling/tickling feeling.

A - This is really strange. I tingle at night sometimes as I sit in my chair praying. It is like a vibration, and I sometimes have an itch in my ear and at other times a slight ringing for just a moment or two, as well as strange aches and tingles in my body, and flux in my appetite, mood, and sleep patterns, and assorted other anomalies. I believe we are about to ascend. Before going further with this thought, I need to make you aware of my study strategy.

I have always felt that to be wise as serpents but innocent as doves means we are to understand the serpent's lair. I have never distanced myself from the information available to understand it as much of the body of Christ has done. I glean all I can from it, then filter it through the Word, and begin to see the WHOLE picture, not just the corner painted by Christendom. The New Age believes in an ascension of sorts, just as we believe in the rapture. There is much writing on it available today. They are very well versed in the ways of God, just from a distorted perspective. They attest to many touches like you mention and like I am experiencing as being preparatory body adjustments and changes fitting one for ascension.

Now back to the thought at hand. These people aren't all "wet". Reading my stuff down the line will explain that they may have an ascension of a sort for a time. Everything in God's master plan occurs in duality. We have Yeshua, our Messiah, and we have the Anti version.

EVERYTHING of God has an ANTI VERSION. It is this lack of understanding that has doomed the church to fall prey to deception. Once you get a grip on the REAL and the ANTI, the Tree of Life vs. the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, i.e. the dual creation, EVERYTHING begins to fall in its proper place! If THEIR god of forces is preparing them for ascension in this way, wouldn't our LIVING God be preparing his people in like manner - PARTICULARLY His First Fruits, who are about to ascend VERY SHORTLY? I think these touches are to begin the transformation in our bodies and our very DNA structure for the new wine skins and the new wine we are to get!

As a word of caution, however, we must also remember that the spirit world has two sides, and both are capable of interacting with man. We must have high discernment in this area, and pray to be sure anything of a supernatural nature is from the right source. Whereas these touches are physiological in nature, and probably just DNA changes, if there are messages attached at any time, we must be sure they are coming from the right source!
